Congratulations Robert!!!

That's right Ella is now the proud owner of 2 college educated parents! Robert Graduated with his Bachelors in Speech and Hearing Science and he did it in record time. He worked very hard and took classes year round while holding 2 jobs. We are so proud of him and grateful for his sacrifice. Since graduating Robert has found a great job as a Speech Therapy Assistant at a clinic which will take the place of his other 2 jobs. Robert will now be looking for a Masters Degree Program so he can eventually be a Speech Therapist. Ella and I love you Robert you are a wonderful husband, father, and priesthood older. Thank you for everything you do!

Going Private

Well after hearing many blogging horror stories I am deciding to make my blog private. I really want be in control of who gets to see into my private life. I hope this doesn't detour any family or friends from coming to my blog once I go private. I am asking any one who likes to look at my blog for their email address so I can invite them to see my blog once I go private. I know some of you are phantoms so even if you look and don't post please give me your email so you can continue to quietly peak into my life. Unless, of course, you are a total stranger then I don't need your email address because you are who I am trying to keep out.

Ella's 7 month 2 weeks and 6 days old photo shoot!

Well Ella turned 6 months right in the middle of the holidays so I missed that milestone but better late then never right! The pictures turned out amazing I am so excited! Thank you so much to the photographer (Robert's Sister) Sarah Trujillo, you did a wonderful job! She drove all the way from Queen Creek with her two little ones to take the pictures, luckily her husband came to help with the kids. She even waited around for Ella to take a nap in the middle of the photo shoot, now that is service!!! Thanks again Sarah!

We didn't get many smiles out of Ella due to the 2 teeth that were sprouting that day! I didn't realize this until the next day or else I would have had the baby oral gel on hand.....dang it! Oh well smile or no smile I am happy with the turn out!

Camera-napped!!!

So I was downloading the pictures from my camera and to my surprise I found some shots that I did not take! Robert didn't take them either so my only conclusion was that my camera was snatched by little fingers sometime between the hours of 8:52am and 9:04am on December 11, 2009 (according to the time stamp on the pictures). These are the pictures that were taken during this crime spree.

I have no idea who the culprit is but I think I have a couple of witnesses......

Witness #1 - He appeared in most of the shots taken.

Witness #2 - I am convinced this googly eyed fish must have seen something before it's eyes rolled back into it's head.

Hopefully I can get the witnesses to talk and catch the perpetrator! Rest assured the camera is back in my possession!

Halloween

Well Grandma April asked "Where is Halloween?" So Grandma April this is just for you!!!

We actually forgot to take pictures on Halloween so we had to wait till these picture came off of the ward bulletin board.

Robert and I were pirates and I had no idea what to do for Ella but about 2 days before Halloween a lady from our ward bought this little onesie for Ella and it was PERFECT!!! It says "Pirate Sweetheart" So I made a bow and threw some clothes on that matched!

6 MONTHS OLD!!!! (last month....)

Ella is growing so fast I can hardly keep up with her! She turned 6 months on November 13th. Here are some of her 6 month achievements!

She can sit up!

She holds her own bottle!

She had her first solid food and LOVED it!

Ella had her first two teeth poke through during her 6th month and I didn't even know she was teething, she is such a happy girl! Here are a few more of Ella in her 6th month.
